Description

"Associations" is an interactive internet installation designed to allow you to ponder the relationship between some central terms and concepts. By selecting associated words among alternatives presented on the basis of associations made by previous visitors, you move along your own personal metonymical chains. As you interact with the installation, your associations become part of the database that determines the choices presented to subsequent visitors. After enough data is collected about you, the installation will present you with a "normality index score" which is an indicator of how your associations compare to those of other visitors.
