The Blackhouse is a circular structure constructed from 16 monitors and 60 computers. Several computers run short audio loops of howling wind, rain, and the occasional bird song. The monitors show a variety of images from picture-perfect views of Scotland, to computer generated landscapes, to the live feed from a webcam positioned overlooking a quiet road passing the Cuillin Hills in Skye Isle.
