This piece aims to express the concept of mu, a Japanese word that means absolute nothingness. Patterned visuals and audio represent the mind bombarded with stimuli; by moving the mouse to control volume and pattern generation, visitors begin to notice the parts behind the whole and move towards a greater understanding, which is much like the training that goes into achieving the state of mu.
