The Artist Protection & Benefit Program business plan is based on the premise that artworks increase in value after the artist who created them has died. Modeled after the United States Federal Witness Protection Program, the APBP removes an artist from the contemporary art scene, relocates them to a new city or country, and provides them with a new identity.
