Is a loop really the same each time around? This series explores static or ambient cinema by remixing iconographies of movie history in asynchronous and nested loops. Each hierarchical level of sound and image is under 10 seconds in length. I like to think of these as time quilts, stiched together textures and patterns of cinema's past.
